Procedure for Posting Submitted Information on the Portal
The “I Know Everything” team follows this procedure when publishing user-submitted information on the portal:
-
The portal publishes information on volunteer work, education, studies, employment, travel, leisure, the rights of young people, the European Union, opportunities within the EU and around the world, funding programs, internships and apprenticeships, as well as events, training sessions, and competitions at the local, national, and international levels. It also covers general youth information topics such as health, personal finance management, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, psychological and social support, media literacy, and more.
-
The portal does not publish information relevant only to a narrow group of people. It also does not publish information about past events, competitions, conferences, meetings, etc., or their results.
-
The portal publishes free of charge only information that is non-commercial in nature, provides full or at least partial funding for the participation of young people and those working with youth, or charges a nominal fee—for example, for support, technical, and logistical purposes—to ensure the implementation of the opportunities offered.
-
Commercial information that is relevant to young people and provides added value may be published on the portal. This service is provided to the information provider for a fee (hereinafter referred to as “Paid Services”). Paid Services, their prices, and other terms and conditions are agreed upon in advance with the Eurodesk Lithuania program editor (by email: info@zinauviska.lt).
-
The sender of the information is responsible for its accuracy. The “I Know Everything” team reserves the right not to publish inaccurate information.
-
The information received is reviewed by the editor of the Eurodesk Lithuania program.
-
Submitted news items must meet the minimum requirements—they must include the following information: what (event, conference, meeting, competition, etc.), when (the exact date or period during which the news is relevant), where (the location where the event, conference, meeting, competition, etc., will take place), deadlines for participation, submission of applications, registration, etc., a brief description of the event, conference, meeting, contest, etc., requirements for participants (if any), and all necessary contact information.
-
The “Žinau viską” team reserves the right to edit and modify the text to ensure it complies with the normative requirements of the Lithuanian language and the portal’s stylistic guidelines (youthful, clearly understandable language, direct address, avoiding formality), without altering the meaning of the originally submitted information.
-
The sender of the information will be notified of the decision to publish or not to publish the submitted information within 3 business days, with the reasons for the decision provided. If possible, the sender will be informed of the exact publication date.
-
The flow of information on the portal is managed by the Eurodesk Lithuania program editor, who ensures that submitted news items are posted on the portal in a timely manner—that is, before the deadline(s) mentioned in the news item(s) expire.
-
When publishing information, the original source is cited with an active link to its website, if available.
