The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania invites you to do an internship at the State Guaranteed Legal Aid Service.

The traineeship can be carried out in the following areas:

1. Administration of State-guaranteed secondary legal aid services.
2. Administration of State-guaranteed secondary legal aid services in criminal cases where the defence counsel is obliged to be present at the trial.
3. Administration of state-guaranteed out-of-court mediation, compulsory mediation and judicial mediation services.
4. Exercise of the functions of the central authority for the recovery of maintenance obligations of persons over 21 years of age in the EU (English language proficiency at B1 level required).
5. Legal aid in another EU Member State in accordance with EU Directive 2003/8/EC of 27 January 2003 (English language proficiency at B1 level required).

WHO IS IT FOR?

• Students studying at a higher education institution (trainees).
• Holders of a university degree in law with a minimum of a degree in social sciences (traineeship).

WHEN? HOW? WHERE?

• Duration by agreement.
• Opportunity to participate remotely.
• Opportunity for a remote traineeship and internship after induction training.
• The introductory training can be carried out in different cities in Lithuania, depending on the chosen field.

1. Educating consumers (entrepreneurs) on consumer protection issues (making proposals, drafting measures, etc.).
