Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected on Žinauviską.lt portal. It explains what information we collect about you when you open the Eurodesk Lithuania portal in your web browser. Our Privacy Policy is based on the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 as well as other applicable data protection legislation.

Žinauviską.lt may place a small computer file called a cookie on your computer when you visit the Žinauviską.lt website. We use cookies to improve our understanding of your use of the Žinauviską.lt website and to determine how well it works.

Personal information and personal data protection

We collect and use your personal information to:

• provide you with an email newsletter service (“Subscribe to our newsletter”);
• place your advert or other informational text in one of the Žinauviską.lt portal sections.

We do not provide this personal information to any other party. We also confirm that the data is collected in accordance with the requirements of the applicable European Union and Republic of Lithuania legislation and the instructions of the controlling authorities. In accordance with the Procedures for the Processing of Personal Data in the Council of Lithuanian Youth Organisations, we take all technical and administrative measures to ensure that the data we collect about you is protected against loss, unauthorised use and alteration.

1) Personal data will be used only for the purposes of further communication and project administration.
Please be informed that a copy of the list of participants with personal data of the participating delegates will be forwarded to the Youth Affairs Agency under the SADM (A. Vivulskio g. 5, Vilnius; info@jra.lt, to the Department of Social Services Supervision under the SADM (Vytenio g. 6, Vilnius; +37063408299) in the course of reporting on the project and the use of the project’s funds by LiJOT. The data is collected on data repository platforms.

Scope of the Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Žinauviską.lt portal. We are not responsible for possible violations of the Privacy Policy when:

• you connect to a third party website using a link contained in Žinauviską.lt;
• you access Žinauviską.lt using a link published on a third party website.
